HLTH 465 - Essentials of Strength and Conditioning (3 cr) Class provides an understanding of teaching and demonstrating fitness and wellness activities. The focus will be on advanced principals of training, speed, ability, balance, CV endurance, and polymeric. Students will also gain an understanding of exercise sciences, theoretical practices, nutrition, testing protocols, program design, and administration. This class may be used as preparation of certification exam. PERMISSION OF INSTRUCTOR and SENIOR STANDING. Prerequisites: HLTH 375 and HLTH 405 ; and BIOL 225 , BIOL 226 , BIOL 227 , and BIOL 228 .
