HLTH 375 - Applied Anatomy and Physiology (3cr) An exploration of human anatomy and physiology with emphasis on developing an understanding of the interrelationships of the body systems in maintaining homeostasis in both health and disease. Organ systems covered include the skeletal, muscular, cardiovascular, respiratory, and endocrine. This course emphasizes both the acute response to exercise and the long term adaptations associated with training. Prerequisites: Current CPR/First Aid certification; and BIOL 225 , BIOL 226 , BIOL 227 , AND BIOL 228 .
