NURS 320 - Bioethics(3 cr) This course serves as an introduction to recognizing and assessing the presence of moral-ethical dilemmas in self and others. Students will explore basic ethical principles, concepts and theories and the personal/societal importance of morality, virtues and values. Moral reasoning skills will be developed as well as the ability to critically analyze cases involving moral-ethical dilemmas. The intersection of bioethics and the law will be addressed including professional codes of conduct and standards of professional behavior.
