MUSC 237 - Diction for Singers

(3 cr) This course is designed for vocal performance and choral music education majors and covers instruction in and application of the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) in the four basic singing languages, Italian, English, German, and French. Previously titled Diction I (Spring 2005 - Spring 2018). Prerequisites: Declared music major or music minor, or permission of instructor.
