MATH 433 - Applied Mathematics(4 cr) This course concerns three major topics. The first topic is Fourier series and it includes Fourier integrals and Fourier transformation. The second topic is partial differential equations and methods of solving them. Important PDEs such as, but not limited to, wave, heat, and Laplace equations are considered. The third topic is complex analysis. Complex functions, complex sequences and series, and complex integration are briefly studied. Prerequisites: MATH 309 and MATH 310 .
