The Master of Education in Educational Leadership, a masters’ program with 30 required total hours with three concentrations for education professional who fit into these categories:

  1. Students who are looking for a graduate degree to work in higher education administrative settings at two- and four-year institutions.
  2. Students who are currently PK-12 teachers and are seeking departmental leadership focused on curricular pedagogy.
  3. Students who are currently PK-12 teachers and are seeking roles as dean of students, assistant/vice principals or principals.

The Master of Education in Educational Leadership and associated 15-credit, non-degree graduate certificates in Higher Education, Curriculum & Instruction, and School Leadership are designed as complementary graduate options which can stand alone or can be applied to the Master of Education.

Admissions Requirements: Completion of online Graduate application, earned bachelor’s degree, undergraduate transcripts, graduate transcripts (if applicable), statement of professional goals associated with selected concentration, and three references who can attest to promise as graduate student and character as professional educator.
