Gender and Women’s Studies Minor

With completion of the Gender & Women’s Studies program, students will have:  

  1. Acquired multidisciplinary knowledge related to the study of social formations of gender, sexuality, gender identity, and their intersectionality with race, class, and ethnicity. 
  2. Developed an appreciation for educational equity, public engagement and activism, interdisciplinary approaches to knowledge and understanding, and open communication and dialogue. 
  3. Had opportunities to engage in multi-disciplinary, inter-disciplinary, and cross-disciplinary engagement and learning using multiple modes of intellectual inquiry.
