SOWK 412 - Social Work Practicum IV (3 cr) The final semester of the social work student’s practicum instruction in which the student will be expected to continue applying theory, knowledge, and skills through direct delivery of social services in an approved community social service agency under the director of a qualified supervisor. The student completes approximately 20 hours of practicum experience per week and attends a practicum seminar held weekly on campus. Social Work program faculty and the agency supervisor work closely to ensure the student undergoes an intense, thorough, and broad experience in direct service to people in need.
Prerequisites: Senior majors only, and SOWK 408 .
