JOUR 204 - Introduction to Journalism

(3cr) A foundation-level course in journalism which is intended to emphasize accurate, balanced reporting and effective news writing style. Assignments include hard news, interviews, columns, public relations, and feature stories. The basics of libel law and journalistic ethics will also be considered.
 Course History Previously titled Introduction to Print Journalism.
  Prerequisites: ENGL 101 .
