(3 cr) This course focuses on the “Long Sixties,” from the late 1950s to the early 1970s. In this turbulent era, many social and political movements arose whose impacts are still felt today. Topics include the civil rights movement, the anti-Vietnam War movement, counterculture, and the generation gap, as well as the Great Society, conservation, and the environmental movement.
