This course examines the influence that specific theories, design principles, and evaluation models have on the quality and effectiveness of a curriculum. The course requires students to learn how to define the scope and sequence of a curriculum to ensure vertical and horizontal alignment and how to map curriculum to address gaps and unnecessary duplication within and across grade levels.
