PSCI 453 - Constitutional Law 3: Freedom of Expression
(3 cr) This course utilizes Supreme Court decisions to introduce students to the First Amendment freedoms of speech, press, and association. It examines various forms of protected and unprotected speech, including student speech, symbolic speech, commercial speech, corporate speech, defamation, and obscenity. Prerequisites: PSCI 100 or PSCI 101 or permission of instructor.
