CIS 396 - Internship in CIS(1-6cr) This course awards academic credit(s) for department-approved internship experiences in a discipline-related work environment. Students will be able to apply their knowledge and skills acquired in classroom settings to real world research and application scenarios. A student wishing to enroll in this course must submit a written research proposal for approval to the advisor and to the chair of the department of computer science, mathematics, and engineering. CIS 396 is repeatable to a maximum of 6 credits. Prerequisites: Permission of department chair.
