CSDA 531 - Leadership Development

(3 cr) Students will gain an understanding of the conceptual and theoretical foundation of leadership development. The course will introduce historical foundations, developmental models, established and emerging research, and empirically-supported approaches to leadership that influence effective practices. Emphasis will be placed on the distinctions made between leadership skill, development, and education. Previously titled Student Leadership Development in College.
