PHED 431 - Secondary Physical Education Methods

(4cr) A focus on contemporary approaches to teaching secondary physical education with an emphasis on management of the learning environment, planning and implementation of effective instruction for student learning, and secondary curriculum development.  Restricted to Secondary Education majors with a teaching field in Physical Education. Previously EDUC 431 (3cr) - Special Methods of Teaching Physical Education, PHED 431 (3cr) Special Methods of Teaching Physical Education in the Elementary and Secondary Schools, and PHED 431 (3cr) Secondary Physical Education Methods. Prerequisites: EDUC 320 .
