ENGL 382 - Business and Professional Writing(3cr) This course exposes students to the types of writing that occur outside of academia, in the workplace. Students in this class will undertake a range of writing assignments, from the expository (e.g., process flows, user guides) to the persuasive (e.g., business case narratives), and ample class time will be allocated to peer-review and revision. Previously titled Technical Editing. Prerequisites: ENGL 102 or permission of instructor.
