CRIM 425 - Policing(3cr) This course provides an overview of the history of policing in the United States, the functions of the police in modern society, and how those functions have evolved and continue to evolve in light of political, economic, and technological developments. An emphasis is placed on analysis of contemporary research as well as classical analyses of police behavior. Previously titled Police and Community Relations.
