CHEM 322L - Instrumental Analysis Laboratory

(1 cr) CHEM 322L is laboratory course that provides hands-on experience with modern analytical instrumentation, techniques, and data analysis. Students will learn how to prepare samples, optimize instrument parameters, and run several types of instrumentation. Techniques covered include atomic and molecular spectroscopy, chromatography, and mass spectroscopy.  Students will learn how to use advanced data handling and error treatment methods. Prerequisites: CHEM 209 , CHEM 209L , CHEM 315 , CHEM 315L , and MATH 108 , MATH 205 , or MATH 207 .   Corequisite: CHEM 322  or permission of instructor.
