Volumetric, gravimetric, and potentiometric techniques are covered in detail. Chromatography and spectroscopy are covered at an introductory level. Also covered are chemical equilibrium, acid-base theory, and the statistical methods needed for the critical evaluation of data. Prerequisites: CHEM 209 and CHEM 209L and MATH 108 , MATH 205 , or MATH 207 . Corequisite: It is strongly recommended, but not required, that CHEM 321L be taken concurrently.
