(3cr) Designed for non-science majors to help students understand the contemporary role of mathematics. Real-world problems are emphasized. Includes problem-solving strategies within the topics of management science, data handling and statistical reasoning, social choice, and geometry and measurement. Prerequisites: Satisfactory math placement score .
