ENGL 427 - Major World Authors(3cr) A seminar focusing on in-depth study of the life and works of a single major world author (non-British, non-American) chosen by the instructor and approved by the Department of English and Modern Languages. The student is expected to attend regular meetings of the seminar, participate in open discussions, and submit a major documented paper that individually investigates a significant aspect of the course’s subject matter, in addition to completing other short written or oral assignments. This course is repeatable to a maximum of 9 credits. Prerequisites: ENGL 301 or permission of instructor.
