CIS 423 - Server Operation Systems and System Programming(3 cr) Students will learn the principles of current server operating systems and system level programming skills. The role of servers in enterprise networks and the design of modern server computer systems will be covered. Students also will learn how to use system level programming languages, such as C, Shell, Perl, etc., to automate repetitive system administration tasks. Prerequisites: CIS 395 or CIS 386 or CIT 385 or CPE 386 or permission of instructor.
