BIOL 404 - Immunology(4 cr) A senior-level lecture and laboratory course designed to introduce the student to the study of immunological processes and the methods used to initiate, describe, differentiate, and measure such processes. Attention is given to the biological basis of immunity, the nature of the humoral and cell mediated immune responses, the chemical and biological features of immunoglobulins, in vivo and in vitro antigen antibody interactions, and immunologic diseases. Prerequisites: BIOL 344 , CHEM 315 , CHEM 315L , , CHEM 316L , or permission of instructor.
