RECR 238 - Operations Management in Sport/Recreation(3 cr) This course is designed to explore the principles of planning, design, and management of selected sport, recreation, and exercise facilities. The course will also cover the planning and management of special events. This will include, and is not limited to, budgeting design, staffing, operations strategy, inventory management, evaluation/assessment, scheduling, crowd management and relative human resource management. Emphasis will be placed on the application of these principles in an actual sport and recreation business setting.
