GRDS 412 - Design Applications II(3 cr) Course focuses on designing whole campaigns from print to web to interactivity. Projects will demand conceptual and visual thinking in order to best communicate the client-driven problem. In this course, students will integrate type and image to produce single- and multiple-page documents, design interfaces, and animations. Grid structure, visual unity and information hierarchy are explored as students apply the design across various applications. Technical considerations in the design and production process are presented such as working with image files and preparing documents for successful output. Previously offered as GRDS 360-Digital Studio II. Prerequisites: ART 208 with a C or higher. Corequisite: GRDS 410 .
