ENVS 302 - Forestry Management and Laboratory

(4 cr) The historic and present day relationship of humans to plants on wild lands. Examines the scientific principles underlying proper use of forest and range lands; wood, forage, and water production; fire, pests, and forest management; recreation and wild land management; and the roles of individuals and private and governmental organizations related to wild lands.  Previously titled Forestry, and offered as 3 credits. Prerequisites: One year of biology.
