EDUC 586 - Reading I: Literacy Acquisition and Developmental Reading

(3 cr) This course is designed to be an initial study of language acquisition, emergent literacy, and the reading process with a focus on PreK-3 readers. In the course, students will also explore current methodologies and materials for effectively implementing subject specific-reading strategies into early elementary classrooms.
