HIST 124 - The Atlantic World, 1450-1850(3 cr) This course surveys the Atlantic World from the beginnings of the European exploration and imperialism in the mid-1400s through the revolutions of the 18th and 19th centuries that liberated nearly all of the western hemispher from imperial domination. It focuses on how four continents (Europe, Africa, and the Americas) engaged with one another in new ways that shaped the lives of millions of people.
