BIOL 305 - Cell Biology(4 cr) Cells are considered as the basic structural and functional unit of biological organization. Selected cell structures and activities are discussed from the molecular, cytological, ultrastructural, and metabolic points of view. Topics include bioenergetics, macromolecular structure, transport processes, regulation of cellular activities, and internal organization of cells. Prerequisites: BIOL 211 and BIOL 212 ; AND CHEM 207 , CHEM 207L , CHEM 209 , CHEM 209L .
