The Master of Education in Teaching. (MET) is a 30-credit hour program of study that provides students with an opportunity to explore a variety of topics in education. The MET does not lead to teaching certification. However, it can be used to give individuals who completed an alternative certification pathway the full range of coursework traditionally required for certification so that they have a strong educational foundation, understand educational theory and research, and have knowledge of special education practices and technology use in education.
