Innovation Minor

The Innovation minor is designed to provide students with the opportunity to exercise the fundamentals of innovation, entrepreneurship, and intrapreneurship. The foundations of innovation - entrepreneurship, problem solving, creativity, and decision making - form the basis of the minor. The minor is designed to provide courses that complement any major.

Curriculum for a Minor in Innovation

Required courses, 15 Hours:

BADM 150 - Introduction to Business (3 cr)
BADM 211 - Creativity and Problem Solving (3cr)
BADM 212 - Introduction to Innovation (3cr)
BADM 400 - Innovation Integration (3cr)
Complete 3 credits:
BADM 311 - Exploring Entrepreneurship (3cr)
OR BADM 369 - Applied Business Lectures (3cr)
NOTE: Careful attention to total upper-division hours (300-400 level coursework) is recommended for students pursuing this minor. 42 upper-division hours are required for the bachelor’s degree.
