Geographic Information Systems Minor

The minor in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) provides students familiarity with current GIS software, map production, environmental sensing technologies and spatial analysis. GIS is used globally in a wide array of scientific, social, and economic applications and can be applied to virtually every discipline as a synergistic tool within the student’s major.
