Nutrition Minor

The minor in nutrition provides students with a foundational knowledge of food and nutrition. Areas explored include the role of nutrition in promoting a healthy lifestyle and interactions between food and the human body. The minor in nutrition complements the major and provides students with an enhanced skill set and competitive edge in the job market. 

Program Learning Outcomes:

1. Graduates will become competent, entry-level nutrition and dietetic technicians, registered to meet employment needs of the state and nation.
