Environmental Studies is an interdisciplinary program that investigates interactions between humans and their environments. This includes physical and biological aspects of natural environments and highly modified human-made environments such as urban and agricultural systems. The Environmental Studies minor provides students with a foundation in various biological, physical, and social dimensions needed to understand interactions between humans and their environments. The minor is an excellent complement to a major in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Political Science, History, Global Studies, or a host of other major programs.
