The minor in business administration is designed to give students a foundational understanding of the context of business for employment in a highly competitive world. The goal of the minor is to acquaint students with business terms and practices so that they can interface with business professionals in their chosen major.
Students considering a master’s degree in business (MBA) in the future can use the minor to help prepare for that program. Contact the department for more information.
*Students not majoring in economics may, with the permission of the chair of the Department of Business Administration, substitute MATH 314 Statistics for BADM 224. Students required to take MATH 314 in their major will substitute a business elective ACCT, BADM, ECON or CIS 300 or higher.
