The minor in Photography/Computer Imagery is designed to develop students’ technical knowledge and conceptual understanding of contemporary photographic practice. Photo minors will cultivate a level of mastery over manual photography in both digital and analog techniques, which can later be applied to a wide range of professional fields, including but not limited to: photojournalism, commercial photography, and fine art photography. This minor commonly pairs well with degrees in , , , and .

Curriculum for a Minor in Photography/Computer Imagery
The Department recommends that students considering a minor in photography/computer imagery contact the Chair of the Department of Contemporary Art and Theater to review a plan of action. Many courses are only offered in either the Fall or Spring and have pre-requisites that make it necessary to plan carefully for timely graduation. Total semester hours required, 18 Hours:
