The history minor allows student to explore and understand the human condition within an historical context, in order to better understand their own and other civilizations. Students receive an in-depth introduction to American history and can select from an elective menu that includes most areas and eras of world history, and best complements their major. History minors will also advance their skills in critical thinking, source analysis, and writing.

Curriculum for a Minor in History
Total hours required for a minor, 18 Hours
Core Courses, 6 Hours
Choose two of the following: Elective Courses, 12 Hours
Complete any four electives chosen from among 300/400 level History courses.
