MUEN 373 - Piano Ensemble and Accompanying(1 cr) This course is designed to teach the art of collaborative music making. Pianists, singers, and instrumentalists, whether majors or non-majors, are welcome to sign up for this class. The focus (i.e., art song literature, four-hand piano music, or musical theater) is announced prior to the beginning of each semester. Students are assigned to ensemble teams that work in the class and in independent practice sessions to develop their sight-reading, accompanying, diction, and performance-practice skills. This course may be repeated for credit. Permission of the instructor is required to register for this class. All MUEN courses may be repeated for credit.
