ENVS 441 - Hydrology and Lab(4 cr) This course will focus on the dynamic nature of earth’s surface and subsurface waters and the impact of human exploitation of these water resources. Techniques for monitoring and analyzing both surface and subsurface waters will be presented and practically applied as part of the laboratory component. Water quality standards and the criteria on which these standards are based will also be addressed in this course. Coursework assumes knowledge of basic algebra. Prerequisites: ENVS 201 and ENVS 202 , or BIOL 208 and BIOL 209 .
