ENGL 446 - American Literature and the Prominence of Place(3 cr) Geography and region play major roles in shaping the literature called “American.” In this course, students will explore the richness of region as it informs literary periods, particular literary movements or philosophies, and themes associated with nature or place. Repeatable. Prerequisites: ENGL 301 or permission of instructor.
