PSCI 333 - Public Personnel Administration

(3 cr) This course is designed to acquaint students with the theory and practice of human resource management for the public sector. Specific topics covered include recruitment, selection, training, evaluation, compensation, benefits, promotion, and labor relations. A special focus is placed on the rights, duties, and obligations of government employees. Prerequisites: PSCI 100  or PSCI 101  or permission of instructor.
