RECR 450 - Recreation Internship(9 cr) Internship programs provide professionally-supervised career-related experience in a leisure service organization. Student must complete a minimum of 400 agency hours in a setting that demonstrates planning, leadership, administrative, and supervisory skills. Students should consult with their academic advisor and the Internship Manual for successful placement with a professional recreation and/or sport organization and overall course requirements and follow specific procedures stated. Prerequisites: RECR 140 , RECR 316 , RECR 407 , junior/senior status with 2.0 GPA in major, and permission of the Department Chair.
