ACCT 405 - Advanced Managerial Accounting

(3cr) The extension of managerial accounting concepts to advanced costing methods, including job-order costing, process costing, and activity-based costing. Students will explore strategic decision-making through cost allocation, pricing decisions, and cost management strategies, with a focus on financial performance evaluation techniques, including decentralized performance evaluation and financial ratio analysis. The course also covers the ethical considerations in managerial decision-making and introduces transfer pricing and its impact on cost management.
