(3 cr) This course seeks to familiarize students with the nature, role, and structure of the legal system in the United States. Topics covered include basic legal concepts, powers of the judicial branch, civil law procedures, criminal law procedures, and the different areas of American Law. Prerequisites: PSCI 100 or PSCI 101 or permission of instructor.
