(2cr) This course is designed to provide methods of arranging for small and large jazz ensembles. Includes study of notation conventions, score layout, transpositions, and voicing techniques as well as a survey of composers and arrangers in the idiom. Prerequisites: MUSC 245 or permission of instructor.
