PSCI 212 - Qualitative Methods(3cr) Introduction to qualitative research methodology and methods and their application to the study of politics. Topics include history of social science research; research design; data generation through semi-structured and unstructured interviewing, participant observation, and archival work; methods of interpretation; evaluation of qualitative research; and policy relevance of qualitative research. Prerequisites: PSCI 100 or PSCI 101 , or permission of instructor.
