PSYC 341 - Child Development(3 cr) This course provides an overview of child development from the prenatal period through middle childhood. It explores the major developmental theories and scientific research findings as they apply to physical, cognitive, social, and emotional perspectives of human development. The relationship between the individual and the environment, especially the influence of one’s culture, will be studied. Previously titled Infant/Child Development. Prerequisites: PSYC 101 or permission of instructor.
