ENGR 451 - Control Systems(3 cr) This course provides an introduction to the analysis, design, and applications of continuous-time linear control systems. The aim of the course is to develop student knowledge and understanding of control system design. It also aims to help the students apply their mathematical skills and knowledge of control system theory to a number of practical problems. At the end of this course, students will be able to model, analyze, and design controllers for simple electromechanical systems. Extensive use of MATLAB control systems toolbox is also included in this course. Prerequisites: MATH 310 , MATH 307 , and MATH 329 .
