BIOL 415 - Biological Research(1-6 cr) This course awards academic credit for Department of Biology-approved research supervised on campus in a field, laboratory, or other professional setting which enables a student to gain practical knowledge in pure or applied science. A student wishing to enroll in this course must obtain the permission of the biology faculty member conducting the research. Students may apply up to 4 credit hours to meet the elective requirements of a biology major. Credits taken above 4 credits will be applied toward general electives. This course may be repeated to a maximum of 12 credits. Prerequisites: Permission of the Instructor.
