ENGL 408 - Seminar in World Literature(3cr) A seminar course focusing on a literary genre, movement, period, or figures in world literature chosen by the instructor and approved by the Department of English and Modern Languages. The student is expected to attend regular meetings of the seminar, participate in open discussions, and present a series of short written or oral reports related to the topic chosen for study. In addition, the student is expected to submit a major documented paper that individually investigates some aspect of the subject matter of the course as a whole. Previously titled Seminar in Literature IV. Repeatable up to 9 credit hours. Prerequisites: ENGL 301 or permission of instructor.
